The emplica drill bit is designed to match the plicafix plywood repair spots. With reversible knives and spurs, it will always keep the same diameter. Once the blades turn blunt, they can be reversed and used on their second side. After the second side is blunt as well, the blades can simply be replaced using a standard Torx key.
Balanced
Emplica drill bits are wheel balanced after production for smooth turning, rounder holes and lesser forces on the router.
Light weight
The emplica drill bit are 15% lighter than other similar drill bits. This means easier drilling and less load on the router engine.
Durability
Following the latest technologies in design of cylinder head drill bits, the emplica drill bits have been engineered for lifelong durability. Accompanied by hard-metal knives and spurs, it is completed to maximize the number of drills possible.
Knives and spurs
Replacement blades, spurs and centrepoints can be ordered through emplica. We also suggest the use of a resin remover to clean off residue from phenolic film.
